Lumio and the surrouding areas : things to see and do on your holiday

It would be difficult to stay at Residence Arinella, without visiting the village of Lumio. Situated at 200m above sea-level, the village has a fantastic panoramic view. It is also home to the Roman church of St Pierre, built in the 11th century. Don't forget to visit the abandoned village of Occi, just above Lumio.

Calvi is only 11km away, and the town has some beautiful jewels such as the church of Santa Maria, and the Oratory of St Antoine. Not forgetting the beach of L'Alga with its fine white sand and crystal clear water, which looks exactly like a picture postcard.

L'Ile Rousse is also well worth a visit - less than 20 minutes away from the Residence - the town is well known for its breathtaking sunsets, perfect for a romantic end to the day. There are plenty of other places to visit between Calvi and L'Ile Rousse - don't forget to get out and visit them.
